Billie almost missed the show:

Mike - Well look who comes running.

Billie (rushing on stage) - Holy fuck, I'm 25 minutes late! That's the last time I took a nap during the last
hour before the show...

The guys are about to hold their acceptance speeches at the VH1 Big in 05:

Billie (desperately fumbling in his pocket) - Shit, i can't find the notes for my speech, oh nooooo...

Billie - Alright, calm down, check again... ok, uhm.. candy wrapper... hanky... there they - ah, no that's just

another candy wrapper... fuck that's embarrassing...

Tre (thinking) - Looks like that's gonna take longer... again...

Mike (thinking) - What's he waiting for, an introduction fanfare?

Billie - ... I just... can't... believe this... I could have sworn I put them in here...

Mike - Uhm Billie, hate to interrupt, but I think you should start to say something now, people are getting annoyed...

Billie - Ah well, I'd love to Mike, but I got a lil problem here...

Tre (about to make an annoyed comment) - ... - ... no, save it, that's just gonna make it longer...

Mike (whispers) - Look man, forget the gum, just do it already, we've been up here for like 4 min.!

Billie (hissing) - I am not looking for gum, dammit, I can't find the notes for my speech!

Tre - Typical...

Billie (resigning) - Well I guess you're right... I'm just gonna have to improvise...

Mike - Hm, that could get interesting now.

Tre - 5 min. up here and still not done, think we're looking at a new record.

Billie - Uh, I would like to thank my... band members... for waking me up 5 mins before we had to leave so I was in
such a rush I fell over Tre's clown shoes and slammed into my dresser... nothing like a sore shoulder to get you awake... and I would like to

especially thank Mike for yelling that we need to go over and over, making me rush to put my pants on so much that my zip got

caught in my, well you know what, but what the hell, what's done is done, so I guess there's only one thing left to say: Cheers!

Tre (thinking) - That Mike also reminded you repeatedly not to forget your notes you left on that dresser you're not mentioning of course.

Billie - Woooaah, look at that... it's BEAUTIFUL! It's so BRIGHT... and FLASHY... I just can't get enough of it... woooow...

Jason (off shot) - Billie stop staring at the flood lights, it's not good for your eyes.

Billie - Rawwwwr I'm the king of the jungle!

Tre - OH MY GOD IT'S A TIGER!!!

Billie - Tre relax it's just me Billie

Tre - No there's a real tiger, look behind you!

Billie (turns around!) - Oh oh... (both run away as fast as they can)

Mike (laughs at them running away) - Guys, come back it's just...

What happens when Billie tries to spontaneously improvise:

Billie - ... so don't forget to go to the stores later and buy a copy of our new album, American Idiot,
I already got mine!

Jason (off shot) - Psst, Billie, that's not our new album, that's the CD with your last vacation pictures you're holding there!

Billie *hissing* - Shut up, they don't know that!

Jason - Oh yeah, there's no way of telling what with that huge "Vacation 2004" written all over it.

Mike - Aw yes Mummy, I'd love some strawberry and vanilla, and then some chocolate chips and caramel syrup please!

Billie - Someone's dreaming of ice cream party and being four again.
